The School Sport Partnership Programme, funded by the Government and co-ordinated by the Youth Sport Trust is a national initiative aimed at raising standards and improving the quality of PE & Sports in schools.
The Thanet School Sport Partnership was launched in 2005 and expanded in 2006 to incorporate all the state schools within the district of Thanet. Ursuline College is the hub site of the partnership.
